These are prices for original, handmade art. These are not prices for prints.

ABOUT ME

I am a self-taught artist when it comes to my comfort medium - watercolors. I have gotten a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Graphic Design from Augustana College (Rock Island, Illinois, USA). I learned various mediums through my studies such as oil paints, acrylic paints, clay, etc but never really found a teacher for watercolors. I learned watercolors by applying methods and techniques I learned from other mediums.

I eventually wondered over to digital art for some time due to my interest in web design and logo creations. The interest went deeper as I started creating all of my art digitally. After realizing that I was not truly connecting with the art I was creating I switched back to traditional art. For now, I have put all digital creations on hold while I focus on getting better at traditional art.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE

Canvas:140 LB or 300LB cold pressed watercolor paper; varies on the subject.

Mediums: watercolor paints, watercolor pencils, black fineliners, white detailers, inks, occasionally bead paint or embossing powder. You can request different materials.

Mailing: an Ultra-Pro clear plastic sleeve (soft grade) and a top-loader are available depending on the canvas size you order.

PRICES & EXAMPLES

I have commissions priced based on canvas size and art stage. The breakdown of my art stages:

SKETCH

Sketches are normally done in pencils but if you do not plan on getting anything done further for them then they are done in ink (marker or pen). Any future art made by using my sketches should include credits back to me (ParadoxSketchbook) for the pose/concept.

LINEART

Lineart is always completed either with markers, pens, or paint (depending on your request). Not all lineart is black, again it depends on your request. Lineart does not include sketchy lines. Texture lines are only included if you request them (I'll ask in advance to determine where they can be placed).

My lineart is NOT available for creating adopts or customs. In order to get line art to be used as such, please ask in advance as those are created with an invoice only.

Please give me credit for the lines when using my lineart to color.

FLAT COLOR

This stage is the Lineart stage plus flat colors. This includes some textures that can be created using paint (even marker). Please give me (ParadoxSketchbook) credit for the concept, lineart, and basic colors if you use my art for something else.

COLORED

The last stage in my art (this means nothing else can be done to the art). Art in stage can be used for other purposes but you may not change or make edits/alter.

The safety of your commission is in your hands depending on the shipping option you pick.

Regular Envelope: 49

($0.49) USA residents | 115

($1.15) International residents.

Comes inside a regular business or greeting card envelope with no tracking option.

Bubble Envelope: 400

($4.00) USA residents get tracking, international residents get standard mail. Comes in bubble aligned envelope with extra padding.

USPS Options: I use United States Postal Services to do all of my mailing. So, if you find another option that you would rather use then, by all means, communicate that with me. If you can afford a different option not listed here then, by all means, select that option.
